BRANDT LIMITED is a New Zealand family owned company that retails truck and trailer rims. Imported from professional manufacturer; these alloy rims are designed and engineered to high quality standards under the quality control of the ISO/TS 16949, meeting the needs of European trailer builders and fleet operators.

Graeme Brandt, the owner/director of Brandt Limited has been involved in the heavy transport industry for a number of years. He managed one of New Zealand’s largest trailer manufacturing companies for part of that time. His continued passion in this industry has brought about the birth of Brandt Limited.

Why BRANDT Rims?

Brandt Rims are designed and engineered alloy rims to German standards especially for trucks and trailers. These rims are tested by Smithers Scientific Services USA to meet SAE J267 200706 specifications and carries international certification such as TUV Nord and ISO 9001:2000 standards.

DURABILITY

The aluminium mixed with other metals makes Brandt Rims stronger than typical steel wheels, and the unprecedented strength of these rims leads to greater control. Alloy rims disperse heat better, and this decreases cracking and bending. Better dispersion also translates to more efficient braking. Additionally, Brandt Rims come with larger vent holes designed to let air flow freely around the rest of the tire, and this helps cool the brakes.

Forged Aluminium Rims

Aluminium rims are about half the weight of steel rims. One piece forged aluminium rims have about 5 times the strength of steel rims. When loaded with the same weight, forged aluminium rims have a higher resistance to deforming, thus ensuring trucks and trailers can run more steadily and safely. Higher resistance to corrosion.

Forged aluminium rims do not need polishing to maintain their gloss and offer higher resistance to liquid road de-icing agents and other chemicals. Even after long years of usage, aluminium rims maintain their shiny gloss, dust and dirt can be easily removed by spraying with soap suds.
